THE PUCK
The Puck is a revolutionary glucose detection tool addressing a critical health issue: men's reluctance to regularly visit doctors for health check-ups. Recognizing this, The Puck was initially designed to integrate seamlessly into urinals, offering a non-invasive and discreet method for monitoring health. It measures glucose levels in urine and changes color to alert users about potential diabetes risk.
With my expertise in hardware and software development, I engineered a prototype that utilizes Polarimetry for highly accurate readings. Following the successful development of this prototype, it was encased in a professionally designed shell by an external partner and deployed in various locations across Brazil and Canada. This innovation not only provided a practical health solution but also earned me the honor of presenting it live in front of the Cannes Innovation Jury, where it received a Future Impact pencil from D&AD.
